Quebec (Law 25) and International Transfers
Tracking technologies that allow you to be identified or profiled (such as our analytics cookies) are deactivated by default and are activated only if you give your consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time.
Our analytics and security providers (Google, Microsoft, and Cloudflare) process data on servers that may be located outside Quebec and Canada, including in the United States. Cookie and analytics data may therefore be transferred to and processed in the United States by these service providers, subject to appropriate contractual and technical safeguards. By accepting analytics cookies, you consent to this processing outside your province and country.

Website vs. Mobile App
This policy describes cookies set when you use the HoopFrog website in a browser. The HoopFrog mobile app does not use browser cookies. Instead, the app signs you in with secure tokens kept in your device's protected storage. The help and support screens embedded in the app use a web view that may set strictly functional cookies needed for those pages to work; the app does not set advertising cookies.
Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You have several options for managing cookies:
- Consent Banner: When you first visit HoopFrog, a consent banner appears at the bottom of the page. You can accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or open the preferences panel to choose which categories you allow. Your choice is saved and you will not be asked again for one year (or until the policy version changes).
- Change Your Preferences: You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clearing your browser data for hoopfrog.com and revisiting the site, which will trigger the consent banner again.
- Browser Settings: Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these in your browser's "Settings", "Preferences", or "Privacy" section. You can block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies when you close your browser. Please note that blocking necessary cookies may prevent HoopFrog from functioning correctly.

Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no universally accepted standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. However, our analytics cookies are already off by default and require your explicit opt-in, which provides stronger protection than DNT.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, law, or our business practices. If we make material changes, we will update the version number and effective date at the top of this page and re-prompt you for consent where required.
